Simon Says - Paradise Square (2002)

The second album from this band from Sweden.

The band was a quartet on this album with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, sitar, keyboards and vocals.

The band was back from a seven years long break. A break they had spent playing in other bands.

Their 1995 debut album was a Swedish symphonic prog album in the vein of both Kaipa and The Flower Kings.

The band has moved a lot towards the likes of Genesis and Marillion on this album. There is still some Swedish symphonic prog left, though. A lot of the sound and music is now neo-prog.

There is also some pop sensibilities in their music.

The music is pretty muscular and dark on this one hour and five minutes long album.

The vocals is good and so is the music too.

This album is a good album from a rather obscure Swedish symphonic prog band. Check out this band and this album.
